Release Your Psoas Muscles

Today I’m sharing one of my personal favorite ways of working with the heart, lungs, diaphragm, psoas relationship that I talked about in last week’s musings.

 

Lay on your stomach.

Use one of these two balls,

Find your costal arch, place the ball there & breathe. You will be moving the ball slowly around your abdominal cavity all the way down to your iliac crest. Watch the video where I take you through this more thoroughly.

Utilize your connection with your breath and the ball. 

Take at least 5 minutes here, longer if you have it. 

After, stand up, breath, notice, how do you feel in your body? How has your breath shifted? Do you notice a difference in sensation in your low back or hips? 

 

*Do this GENTLY & SLOWLY.
