Learning how to BE in your body.
In order to inhabit your body, it’s essential to understand some simple anatomy and relationships in your body.
Why? Because that is our map, that is our landscape of our physical vessel.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more with my handsome skeleton boyfriend about relationships in the body that will support you in being able to have a more embodied experience and be more present in your life. I call these Mondays with EM ~ Embodied Musings with me, Em ;)
Today’s take away: close your eyes, take a breath, can you feel all the way down into your bones? Your own skeleton? Don’t try too hard. Simply be curious.
What is it like when you are feeling and sensing yourself from your bones?
What I notice when I do this practice is a softening of my external shell, my larger muscle groups.
You can use this practice to slow down the loop of any nervous, anxious, or negative thoughts.
